Best Christmas Markets in the UK – the UK has so many beautiful cities that provide a lovely festive Dickensian backdrop to a Christmas Market (because for me Charles Dickens is inextricably tied to the festive season because of The Christmas Carol!). Whether you are looking for gift ideas Xmas decorations or just a lovely day out, the UK has it all!

York is an ideal place for a Christmas Market and is often voted the most festive city in the UK. There is lots of Christmas fun things to do, for more info you can read our post on Christmas in York or see this great post and video of York Christmas Market.

The Norfolk Christmas Fayre
Everyone is invited to enjoy a free celebration of Christmas in Norfolk as the Norfolk Christmas Fayre comes to Norwich Cathedral.
The Norfolk Christmas Fayre will be more than just a shopping event, but a place where you will be filled with the joys of the festive season. Homegrown makers, creators and producers will be inviting you to sample and shop unique gifts from around the county.
The Cloisters, Nave and the Cathedral Close will be lit up with festive trimmings and local food trucks will satisfy your hunger (and passion for good food). If you are in Norfolk with kids, have a look at this great days out site.
